Optional Face ID / Fingerprint authentication for secure and fast device login.

Microphone / Audio

Participating in voice-based evaluations, live classroom streams, and discussions.

Internet & Network

Streaming high-definition video lessons, submitting quizzes, and syncing cloud progress.

Notifications

Real-time alerts for study streak reminders, assignment deadlines, and course updates.

Permission Management: You can grant or revoke these permissions anytime via your iOS or Android Settings. Revoking a permission will only disable its associated feature (e.g. offline saving).

4. Data Storage & Encryption

We implement industry-standard safeguards, including TLS 1.3 encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, and strict role-based access control.

Server Regions:
Data is hosted on ISO 27001 certified cloud infrastructure located in high-security data centers in the United States and European Union.

5. Payment Gateway (Stripe)

PCI-DSS Level 1 Security

Payment transactions are processed directly by Stripe, Inc. We never store your full credit/debit card numbers or CVV codes on our servers.

Stripe operates under full PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance. All billing data is tokenized securely for recurring subscriptions and automated invoices.

6. Information Sharing Boundaries

Strict Non-Disclosure

We never monetize your student data. Data is shared exclusively with:

  • •Essential Cloud Providers: AWS & Cloudflare for CDN streaming and server uptime.
  • •Payment Partners: Stripe for payment processing and receipt generation.
  • •Statutory Law Enforcement: Strictly when compelled by binding legal warrants or court subpoenas.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

50-Day Guaranteed Deletion

Your data is retained only for the duration of your active learning journey or as required by applicable educational and taxation laws.

Account Deletion: When you request deletion via our Support Center or in-app settings, all profiles, progress, and certificates are permanently purged within 50 days.

8. Children's Privacy (COPPA & Age Requirements)

Designed for Learners Aged 13 and Above

SkillQubix is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from individuals under 13. If we discover inadvertent collection of data from a user under 13, it is deleted immediately from our active databases and backup logs.

  • • Consent Revocation: Opt out of non-essential promotional and announcement emails.

European Union (GDPR) & FERPA

  • • Data Portability: Transfer your verified certificates and milestones to another provider.
  • • Supervisory Complaints: File a grievance with your local EU Data Protection Authority.
  • • FERPA Compliance: Educational records managed on behalf of accredited institutions follow FERPA privacy standards.
